Just a thought...

Love is like the platonic adjoining of the sea against a beaches' shorelines.
One day you are at the highest elavation of your affection;
The tide is in and the waters are relatively calm
You may even hear divine voices if you listen closely.
But eventually the quiet before the storm manifests through crashing waves and white washed walls.
Tumbling down and pulling back...
Away from the shores and back into the abysmal emptiness of the oceans unknown, simultaneously erasing all exsisting evidence of a previous love;
Just as the tide erases previous footprints.
It may take one... two... or even three passes to smooth out the rough edges of the pasts indentations but eventually, you will be able to love yet again,
and new footprints will inevitably emerge
replacing older, less significant memories.

Voting (face palm)

So does your vote really count? I mean... #Cmonson (bad habit)

Most everyone knows about the rules of voting now-a-days, and the political jargon and positions imposed by the ever changing United States Constitution: national/nationwide vote, majority vote, popularity vote, the intricacies of electoral votes etc. Yet people still seem to favor some sort of conspiratorial theme when things just doesn't turn out their way. Case and point, George W. Bush's run in office. Although he did not win the "national" popularity vote, he did manage to appeal to the majority of the electoral voters; a legit victory according the rules imposed by government. Since states may or may not require their electors to vote with the popular majority, it is obvious as to where the power of the final decision lies. Don't get me wrong, I believe that everyone should vote (minorities especially), but just don't put all of your eggs in one basket. The national, popularity vote is basically a census, an opinionated, educational guess, and perhaps adds a degree of influence on the electoral. Many minorities (particularly blacks), have stepped their voting games up and are in fact, meeting the demographic of whites in terms of percentages of votes. However, if minorities wish to truly advance then greater participation and involvement in political affairs is necessary. More blacks in congress, in the Senate and the House is the key. In my opinion... but then again, I'm also in favor of more... persuasive, military tact such as the likes of the late Malcolm X. *Raises fist* I'm just tired of hearing everyone's account of whats morally right and justifiable when it comes to voting O__o just...

Do You.

I'm Saved

My love...
Manifested through her thickness of which I have created
Close encounters of heated palpitations
As she rides to my lyrics heartbeat
Galaxy deep in her oasis

I'm saved...

Yet as my paradigm changes and we sway
Tribulations are like obstacles I hurdle to evade
But ironically she concaves when I ride her milky way
All time seems to cease...
The earth spins the other way
She's my immortality in this wretched love brigade

Go deep baby...

Faced down, now I'm in field goal range
I can feel your pain so let me taste your wave
and implant my footprints in your sand
and forever in your heart.

They Tryna Kill Us

Description:
24-year-old, DeAndre Brunson, who was shot and killed by the LA County Sheriffs'. Deputies had responded to a domestic disturbance call where Deandre Brunston lived. Afraid for his life, Deandre, who was unarmed, jumped out of a second-story window and fled on foot. The deputies cornered him nearby and threatened to release a police K9 on him. Afraid of the police pointing guns at him and the vicious dog attacking him, DeAndre told the police that he had a gun and would shoot the dog if it came to attack him. When the police finally released the dog on DeAndre, he tossed what appeared to be a slipper. Before police could identify that DeAndre was unarmed or allowed the K9 to take DeAndre down, a few trigger happy cops started firing at DeAndre. DeAndre had been shot a total of 22 times, and over 80 rounds of ammunition had been discharged from three police guns.

Can't Be Undone

Surrealism imprisoned fucking the court system
To go from corruption and criticism to positive thinking
Tribulations and venom holding my pen up
Embellished with thermal vision relevant freedom
I bust...
This wolfs avatar cuz I'm a predator
Until I return to the dust, my bones rust
And turn to dust on this page but I'm immortalized
This is my stage...
My prescription to get away from the games
Unknown to the fame it can't be undone
Where have all the souls gone wrong?
A worse case scenario a mystic pharaoh in Babylon
Tainted with the blood of a sparrow in Avalon
Black apparel...
Follow my gallery of blasphemy in shadows
National anthems for eargasms...
It can't be undone.

Sometimes, I wish that I could...
Turn back the hands of Time, regretting lies of the past
Illuminati grasp, educated minds vast
Journey through time travels masts
The captain of this ship, surpass in all your greatest efforts
I amass...
Greater knowledge of Da Vinci code marvels
Cool like carvels you star struck pardon me God
Eclipsed through the fog, intimately involved
With hip hop's resolve, a mental orbit revolved
To dissolve hallucinations in the jungle
I'm your oasis...
As you read my script; a page turner
Public motivational speaker or journalist
Or maybe a greater contributor through Hell's furnace
Just searching for a better predicament
But they're knocking on my door; the witnesses aint getting shit!
Leave them pamphlets on the floor I wipe my ass with it
Where have all the souls gone wrong?
Blatantly shines through this poem
Soldiers fallen but the war isn't won...
There's still a battle in my head like murder, like redrum
born in the slums
It can't be undone.

Yesterday, I took a trip down to memory lane
To the block of my childhood days...
Scared to death to enter through my name
The center for all my pain but, contradictory to the source
Of my prodigal name partly insane
To walk the streets of Saint John's place
Where shots rang and your heart race
Decipher where it came from in the darkness
Corner store where I'm rocking some hot shit
While drug money whips circle the block for days
Graffiti on the church, blood stained graves
Gum merged with cement planes
Through hard times sufficed with silence
A single bullet in my revolver
I click twice...
To throw dice in the alleyways in a city where it's always night
It's just the story of my life, to say that's where I come from
The sun will always shine tomorrow
But it can't be undone.
