Voting (face palm)

So does your vote really count? I mean... #Cmonson (bad habit)

Most everyone knows about the rules of voting now-a-days, and the political jargon and positions imposed by the ever changing United States Constitution: national/nationwide vote, majority vote, popularity vote, the intricacies of electoral votes etc. Yet people still seem to favor some sort of conspiratorial theme when things just doesn't turn out their way. Case and point, George W. Bush's run in office. Although he did not win the "national" popularity vote, he did manage to appeal to the majority of the electoral voters; a legit victory according the rules imposed by government. Since states may or may not require their electors to vote with the popular majority, it is obvious as to where the power of the final decision lies. Don't get me wrong, I believe that everyone should vote (minorities especially), but just don't put all of your eggs in one basket. The national, popularity vote is basically a census, an opinionated, educational guess, and perhaps adds a degree of influence on the electoral. Many minorities (particularly blacks), have stepped their voting games up and are in fact, meeting the demographic of whites in terms of percentages of votes. However, if minorities wish to truly advance then greater participation and involvement in political affairs is necessary. More blacks in congress, in the Senate and the House is the key. In my opinion... but then again, I'm also in favor of more... persuasive, military tact such as the likes of the late Malcolm X. *Raises fist* I'm just tired of hearing everyone's account of whats morally right and justifiable when it comes to voting O__o just...

Do You.

They Tryna Kill Us

Description:
24-year-old, DeAndre Brunson, who was shot and killed by the LA County Sheriffs'. Deputies had responded to a domestic disturbance call where Deandre Brunston lived. Afraid for his life, Deandre, who was unarmed, jumped out of a second-story window and fled on foot. The deputies cornered him nearby and threatened to release a police K9 on him. Afraid of the police pointing guns at him and the vicious dog attacking him, DeAndre told the police that he had a gun and would shoot the dog if it came to attack him. When the police finally released the dog on DeAndre, he tossed what appeared to be a slipper. Before police could identify that DeAndre was unarmed or allowed the K9 to take DeAndre down, a few trigger happy cops started firing at DeAndre. DeAndre had been shot a total of 22 times, and over 80 rounds of ammunition had been discharged from three police guns.
